The rojak man on his bicycle and honking his air-horn was a sight to behold. Years ago a RM1.50 rojak was too expensive to buy. It would take a long while for me to save to get one of his rojaks. One day I worked up the courage to ask the rojak man what I could get for 10 sen. He took pity on me and concocted a special rojak. A single coconut cake stuffed with a slither of sangkuang and bean sprouts with a generous helping of rojak sauce wrapped in newspaper. It looked very much like a tiny hotdog. But it was superb. Whenever he sees me he knows it would be time for his special rojak. I have no idea if any other kid had such a special rojak.
Al-Baqara 2:274 Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
